ABOUT BAKRY

I work where application code meets production reality.

I’m Bakry Abdalsalam, a web developer based in Egypt. I build applications, connect systems, operate servers, and write down the parts that are easy to overlook until something fails.

01

Why this hub exists

A lot of developer content ends at the code sample. Real systems continue through authentication, queues, reverse proxies, deployments, monitoring, and recovery. Bakry Dev Hub connects those layers with practical writing made for people who have to ship and support what they build.

02 / FOCUS

What I focus on

01

Web applications

Backend architecture, APIs, Laravel, WordPress systems, and frontend delivery.

02

System integrations

Webhooks, identity, queues, payment flows, and failure-tolerant communication.

03

Servers & DevOps

Linux, Nginx, TLS, deployments, backups, observability, and recovery.

04

Web performance

Core Web Vitals, caching, asset strategy, and measurable budgets.

03

How I approach the work

  1. 01

Prefer systems a future maintainer can explain.

  2. 02

Design retries and recovery before the first incident.

  3. 03

Measure performance instead of describing it.

  4. 04

Keep the public interface smaller than the implementation behind it.

Current direction

I’m currently publishing deeper implementation guides around reliable integrations, Laravel operations, Astro content systems, Linux server configuration, and performance budgets.
